At Cornerstone we believe that God has called us to bring us alongside the people of Four Corners for the purpose of helping them align their lives with the Word of God. This takes place as they are exposed to the gospel of salvation, and take spiritual steps toward transformation. We believe that as one KNOWS God’s Word, and GROWS in Christ, it will SHOW in their everyday life.

WHERE WE STARTED
In 2002, God led Pastor Joel, his wife Amy, and their two young children to move from their ministry at Park Street Baptist in Saint Petersburg, FL to Four Corners with the vision of planting a gospel-centered church in a blossoming community. Several families from around the country gathered as the launch team at the Four Corners Charter Elementary School and Cornerstone was born in February, 2002 with 19 people in the first service.
By the first Easter Service, Cornerstone had 77 in attendance and had taken on its first missionary. Knowing that the purchase of land would be the biggest hurdle, the church immediately began to save funds for what is now the home of Cornerstone on US 27.

No, although our doctrine is in line with the Baptist faith, Cornerstone is independent, self-supporting, and self-governing.
DO YOU HAVE TO BE A MEMBER TO ATTEND?
People can choose to worship in casual attire, as well as their Sunday best and everything in between.
No, anyone is welcome to attend any and all of our services.
HOW DOES ONE BECOME A MEMBER?
Here at Cornerstone we want you to be a "Partner" with us in ministry. To be a partner one must know Christ as personal Savior, and be baptized. If you are interested in partnership you can schedule a meeting with us where we can discuss our common goals in ministry and the life of this church.
